I would love to invite the public to my open studio event as part of the Portland Open Studios Tour in October. The second and third weekends, the 11th, 12th and 18th and 19th, artists all over the Portland Metro area open their creative studios for the public to come and tour. I also will be showing a series of paintings at the Candle creation bar with an opening reception September 5th! The address is 724 NE 22nd and on Friday the 5th, we will have an artist reception from 6-8pm! It's First Friday on the East side of the river so be sure to make the candle creation bar one of your stops!
I have a sculpture installation happening at the Dharma Rain Zen Center where 9 of my sculptures will be installed on their property. Life-sized buddhas will be planted in the ravine on the Dharma Rain Property. One is already in the ground and the other 8 will be installed over the next few months. Dharma Rain provides public Dharma talks each Sunday and has 14 acres of trails and contemplative spaces to enjoy. NE 83rd and Siskiyou St. or www.Dharma-Rain.Org
Lastly, I will be taking new clients starting in September for mental health therapy. I will be weaving in nature walks during therapy sessions, in person office sessions, or telehealth. My focus is on Restorative Therapy while tuning into the body’s wisdom and our relationship to nature.
