Host Glen Andresen and guest Jim Gilbert discuss, what else, leaves! Listen in to learn a nifty nmenonic device to remember what nutrients plants need and what leaves have to offer. Plus, Jim will give us a report on what's happening on the farm…and a tasty quince recipe! And, when is it time to mulch, harvest persimmons, and protect your potted plants?
As always, we'll answer your gardening questions, have a new Plant of the Month (rhubarb), define our Dirtbag Dictionary words (two this month: grafting and budding), quiz you with a new Garden Stumper, and fill you in on what's going on in the honey bee hive this month.
The Dirtbag... Listen. Laugh. Learn.
